Le 6 septembre, le Conseil d’Administration de Yahoo! a nommé Timothy Morse CEO par intérim, avec effet immédiat. Le Conseil a également annoncé la formation d'un «Executive Leadership Council» constitué d'un pool de VP en place chez Yahoo!.
Les co-fondateurs de Yahoo!, David Filo et Jerry Yang, tiendront le rôle de conseillers auprès du CEO par intérim et de l'«Executive Leadership Council».
Parallèlement, Timothy Morse continuera d’exercer son rôle de Chief Financial Officer de Yahoo!.
