Sonos, système audio pour la maison, offre un accès à plus de 50 services de streaming et permet de profiter de contenus audio (musique, podcasts, livres audio, …), dans chaque pièce du domicile. Les utilisateurs Sonos profitent maintenant d’un accès direct aux 131 radios des Indés Radios et à leurs 250 webradios. Il suffit à l’utilisateur Sonos d’ajouter «Les Indés Radios» à ses services de streaming dans l’application Sonos.

L’étude réalisée par Mindshare, agence de GroupM, vient confirmer l’intérêt des Français pour ces nouvelles technologies et donne un éclairage actualisé sur cette tendance du marché. Les principaux enseignements de cette étude, menée avec MPanel (panel propriétaire de GroupM) du 24 au 27 mars 2018 sur un échantillon de 825 hommes et femmes âgés de 16 à 70 ans sont les suivants.
Google a conclu un accord avec la société de services informatiques américaine, LogMeIn, Inc., pour acquérir Xively, sa division IoT. Cette acquisition enrichira le portefeuille cloud de Google grâce une plateforme qui connecte, gère et stocke de manière sécurisée des données provenant de réseaux d’objets connectés dans le monde entier.

Dentsu Consulting (Dentsu Aegis Network) vient d’éditer un ouvrage collaboratif sur l’internet des objets et la vie connectée. Pour ce faire, il s’est associé avec l’Acsel qui vient de fusionner avec le «Carrefour de l’internet des objets» et intègre dans son Conseil d’administration Benjamin Grange, Président de Dentsu Consulting et ex-président du Carrefour de l’internet des objets.
Au cours de l’assemblée générale de l’Acsel, a été officialisée l’union entre l’Acsel et le Carrefour de l’Internet des objets. Ce mouvement de consolidation entend renforcer l’association dans le domaine de l’IoT. Dans le cadre de ce rapprochement, Benjamin Grange, Président du Carrefour de l’Internet des Objets, et Président de Dentsu Consulting, est élu au conseil d’administration de l’Acsel.
En 2016, il s’est vendu plus d’un million de wearables (smartwatches et trackers d’activité) en France, une hausse de +28% par rapport à 2015, selon l’étude consommateurs La Référence des Equipements Connectés (REC) de GfK. Le chiffre d’affaires s’élevait à 253M€, en hausse de +20%.
Avec 33,9M d’unités au 4ème trimestre 2016, le marché des wearables a progressé de +25% entre 2016 et 2015 et de +16,9% entre le 4ème trimestre 2016 et la même période de 2015 d’après IDC. L’institut note que le marché tend à favoriser les objets qui intègrent à la fois la gestion d’application, les traceurs d’activité et les indicateurs de santé ainsi que les objets qui apportent une réelle valeur ajoutée par rapport aux smartphones.
